Oh dear.
To recap, Jenks was 298 for PMPS last night. By the midcycle feeding, he was down to an impressive 113. That's a 185 point drop. I didn't bother to check him again because I was confident he didn't have much more in the tank, and that he'd probably cruise into AMPS a little under 100.
Not surprisingly, Jenks had other plans in mind. Not only did he have more in the tank; he had a lot more in the tank. To the tune of 60ish more points!
He started the day right at 50, that stinker. OH was here to monitor him all day, so I made sure he ate well first and had a little time for the food to settle in. Then shot him and sent him on his way.
It looks like he spent almost the entire first quarter of the cycle surfing 50, but by +4 he was starting to exhibit a rise.
He's showing some crazy resolving ability with these PMPS numbers. He sinks the first half, then rides it out to AMPS or beyond.
I don't have an explanation for it. So I'll just say it's the eclipse or something....
Regardless of why it's happening, we're just thrilled he's spending a good amount of time in the greens. We'll see how he does tonight. If it happens again, we might need to drop the dose down some more. That would be pretty exciting!
