Anyone around to look at my curve from today?

Ok, I think it's really good. First day without treats at all today. I'm a bit concerned it shot so high PSPM but the rest of it looks like the ideal curve on the Vetsulin site (attached). Dare I hope we found the right dose???? The nadir is the same time but it goes higher at the end. No more Temptations so I'm hoping the Purebites chicken breast treats don't alter his curve too much but I'll do another curve to see. As always, your input is greatly appreciated!

P.S. my phone autocorrected breast to breastfeeding :joyful:

Good job. It's looking good. What is the dose? One suggestion if you want to lower the preshots is to try Lowering the dose a tiny bit for awhile so that the lowest point is only about 50% of the preshot.... This may help to level her out and bring the preshots down... What is happening is called a bounce. It happens when the nadir is significantly less than the preshot. The cat will release stored glucose thinking she's dropping too much, causing the number to go very high again. Just an idea. Overall nice curve.

Yes, nice curve. The nadir is a little low relative to the PSs which isn't unusual for Vetsulin but might cause bouncing as Janet said.

It's 1.5 units of Vetsulin. I was hoping our bouncing days were over :( 1 unit was too low if you take a look at 8/9 so I thought we were good here but I see what you're saying about the lowest low from today. Thank you for your input!

You could certainly hold at this for a while. If the preshot doesn't come down you could try try 1.25 for a few days and see what happens. It's really not bad though.

Not sure if I could get 1.25 even though I have the half unit marked syringes but I could try. Thanks again!
