Maverick's probably bouncing again from yesterday evening, we're day 7 on 1.5u, I think I'd like to see how he is tonight, but even those blues happened five days apart, and still over 150 at nadir. I'm hinting at a dose increase (to 1.75u), in case Maverick is watching...:p

I'd like to call my vet and ask, but they wanted me to bump him from 1 to 2u last week, so I'm pretty sure I know what they'll say o_O

That is how I actually started TR. My vet wanted me to increase from 3 to 5 units. So I thought what do I have to lose. I do the increases slowly and still be under what the vet advised me to do. Then I hit 5 units and just kept going cause I saw small improvements in Gizmo's numbers.
 
I agree, if he doesn't go lower than 150 today, I'd increase to 1.75 tomorrow.

Is he still getting some dry food?

That is my only hesitation in timing of dose increase, since I've been reducing what dry food I do leave out. I've been holding at around 1/4 - 1/3 cup left out during the day and into the night between my two cats (one civvie). I had hoped it was minimal in the scheme of things, since there is often dry left over in the morning, but I think would rather now just make a clean break with the dry all together. I am looking to get a pet feeder to manage multiple feedings with canned only going forward. I'll cut out the dry tonight, see how he does tomorrow, then by Thursday, I'll increase to 1.75.
 
Maverick does like to bounce really high, looks more like bungee jumping than using a trampoline.

Hmmm, PMPS 362, that's not bad considering I thought he was on a bounce...held off to try a +3 to fill a time I don't normally test, he's perky, I think he might be up to something again tonight :cool:
