Update on Chester

Hi everyone. I've just got back from seeing our lil Lionheart.
He's understandably weak and tired, but...
Temp is down, blood gasses a bit more stable. Potassium down, BG about 19. Appetite back up
I gave him some meat treats n he nearly took my fingers off So for now he's staying in hospital with his funky bandages on. I got very soft little purrs and a paw offered to me. I spent bout half hour with him administering huge amounts of love and kissies.
He sends whisker snuffles and thanks you for your kind wishes

Thank you for the update. Now maybe I can keep my mind on what I should be accomplishing today! Glad to hear he was excited by the treats and giving you some purrs. Both good signs! Chester is such a handsome fellow and he looks very alert.... obviously loving your attention. He is a little Lionheart!

Chester is such a charmer. If they let you stay there longer, I would. I brought a foldup chair last time, and just sat by Leo when he was at the emergency vet. I think it helps to have you there as his champion. Go Chester Go!

Day 3 in the Lil Chester the Lionhearts incarceration...
Feeling better. Had a little chirp from him because I wasn't fast enough with the sweeties
Bg still high. Everything else either normal or getting there. They want to run a thyroid panel to be sure. Hopefully home in next few days

Thanks guys.
We are learning each others language. He still looks a bit vague and confused but he let me know that he needed the loo after we'd had a wander round in the ward.
I'm sure the brain fog will clear when he's better balanced
