I think his numbers were a bit higher last night because 1) he got extra food or 2) a partial fur shot (smelled insulin when I tested him at his +3.5). Or both. I had about 1 1/2 oz LC left over from the extra food I had given him on Saturday and so I just added it to his regular food (feeder) - which, btw, he ate ALL of it - lol. I am not going to worry about it - if he is eating I am happy! The smell could have just been a drop too. IDK.

It is raining/storming here really bad. Has been since about 2am. It rained/stormed really good yesterday AM too so we are really saturated.

Loves it. He is loving ALL food right now. Lol. It was the Wholly Cow that he got on the counter to get into Saturday. It was the rest of that can that I added to his food last night.

The mixture right now is Fowl Ball, Organix Turkey and Wholly Cow (started this morning). The Organix Turkey is 5% carb so will see what his numbers do. I wanted to make sure he stayed safe while I am at work (and keep him at 0.5U for now, hopefully). This mixture will take him to Thusday AM cycle and then I will go to a bit lower carb mixture going into the weekend.
 
Tell me about Wholly Cow ... I keep Elmo on lower phos food to make it easy on almost 18 year old kidneys and always hunting new info/insight . Thanks, Lizzie :)

Low carb/Low phos is a nightmare to find.

It is beef based. Gizmo hasn't had beef - ever(?). His BW showed he may be headed towards anemia so at Paul (Bronx's Dad) suggestion I tried it. It only comes in 3oz cans and is kinda expensive but as it is getting harder and harder to find foods to fit his (Gizmo's) needs I am becoming less and less concerned about the small details. :smuggrin:
