Ok. What's up? I heard bg this low & cats would be dead. Hes fine. Threw up his dinner, guessing it was the miralax. I gave him 1/2 teaspoon mixed in his dinner. Bg was at 198 this morning. Came home from work, dinner time bg was 166, then +2 was 154. Now +4 is 54. Checked twice.

Do you use human meter?
The number is fine but a little too close to the take action number of 50.
Can you offer him 2 tsp of MC food now? Will he eat?

I am not familiar with Prozinc - you might get more help on the Prozinc sub-forum.
I would offer a bit of LC/MC now and retest in 20-25 min to see its effect.

ETA: if you are on the human meter then you are looking to take his BG up by 15-20 points and preferably to keep it there as long as possible by feeding the curb.

Sorry, I meant midium carbs wet food - like 7% to 12%.
Do you have any?
If not then adding a little honey to low carbs (LC) wet food should do the trick.

He eats homemade shredded chicken in broth with supplements (The Missing Link). I gave him his pre bed time meal. Added a 1/2 teaspoon more of supplement. Hes usually 300 to 200s on the human meter.

Because he threw up you need to get him to eat and to test shortly after - the below 50 on the human meter is a dangerous territory. Will he eat now a little?

He is eating. He's eating really well actually like there's no problems. So I don't know why he's testing this low. And seems like there's nothing wrong. He ate his meal I just gave him another treat after another test which came up 54 again. His treats are freeze-dried duck livers. Now I'm giving him a Shiba meaty stick..

This is a good thing, being asymptomatic. However, you want him slightly above that 54...Like 15-20 points above. Was he 54 at +4 and 54 again at +4.5? I would take another test in 25 min to make sure he risen a bit.
Can you update the SS with the new test results? It is easier to read if all in there..

Jennifer I think it is better that you stick with the Prozinc Forum - I am Lantus user and you are better of over there I think. You are getting great help and I think you can let this thread go down and not to reply here any longer.
