Yo Kitties! It's here, the Full Sturgeon Moon!! And we will party tonight at Camp Stu in the Adirondack Mountains of NY State. All kitties invited, Civvies, too. We'll swim, paddle in the moonbeams, fish (and grill our catch), sing, dance, and--best of all--have our Circle of Remembrance, when we honor and remember all of our friends and brothers and sisters who have Gone Ahead. We have so many new GAs and we hope to catch a glimpse of them as they join the GA celebration of the full moon at the Bridge.

So come one, come all. Emma will pick you up in the L&LL KittyBus, or you can grab a moonbeam. Here's the party menu:
Appetizers: Moon Microbrews; Moontinis and other delicious cocktails; Caviar on Nip Crackers; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas with Green Cheese; Egg Rolls; Sushi Bar manned by L&LL Sushi Chef Tux.
Entrees: Sturgeon Chowder; Shad Roe; Grilled Lake Trout; Flying Squirrel Kabobs; Michigans (red hotdogs with meat sauce--a Northern NY specialty); Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili with Fresh Moonberry Salsa; Mousehead Stew (fresh-caught mousies: come early to help hunt); Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo.
Salads: Butthead's & Donny's Adirondack Field Greens; Moonshine Slaw.
Desserts: Moon Pies; Maggie's Signature Cheesecakes with Wild Blueberries; Tobey's Cimmamoon Cookies; Moondrop Torte à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Surprise Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.

If the kitties can have a party, so can we - just as long as we are home before they are.

I've got a ton of food in the house that I can't indulge in at the moment. The menu includes a freezer full of stoemp topped shepherd's pie and beef carbonnade. There will be black beans and corn baked in salsa, artisan cheeses, tomato, basil, and feta salad, and 2 loaves of 7 grain bread (fresh out of the oven). Giant Toblerones for afters.

We'll flop on the dock and drink the liquor cabinet dry (there's Chimay and Leffe on tap for beer drinkers). We'll sneak into the neighbour's backyard (they are away) and use their fire-pit for making smores. We'll eat and drink, and fall asleep rather quickly (because most of us here are sleep deprived), completely missing the bank beaver who swims by just after dark.

Sounds yummy. We'll be there! Is it raining by you?? I hope the moon will be visible tonight at the kitties' party.
 
Wez in but, Iz can't stay late as Iz have an 8 AM Vetty apt for BW pre dental on Thursday. Maybe while wez all in the circle of remembrance, wez can say prayers for those in need and send some good dental vines my way and all the good healing vines for those in need. Don't let me overindulge as my BG's are higher than they should be. :cat:
 
Yo, This party is rockin'! Can't see the moon, but we know it's there. Gettin' ready for the best part of the evening: the Circle of Remembrance. So many old friends to remember and to catch a glimpse of tonight. Oh, I think I hear the Celestial Chorus now. A hush is falling over the crowd. After our Circle we'll grill those hot dogs and dance, dance, dance.
Don't expect your kitties home any time soon, dear Beans!

Hi Rusty.
Thanks for making Maggie's cheesecakes with wild blueberries. I hear it was quite a party with plenty of dancing and Moontinis. Lots of sleepy kitties this morning.
The Circle of Remembrance so beautiful. I think one of these parties Katie may want to indulge and see Maggie at the Circle of Remembrance.
