Just when you think it's looking up. Finally got Ham in ok health, he's eating, his bg have been better. Now my civvie Uno is so sick, He hasn't eaten in a week barley pees, hasn't pooped. Spent 5 hours at the emergency vet last night. They did blood work and x-rays, on top of it his temperature is low and so is his heart rate. The x-rays show a mass in his lung, but no blockage, and they had no idea what was wrong. A lot of possibilities that ranged from diabetic, chronic renal disease, gastroenteritis, and pancreatitis. The vet last night wanted to keep him but I couldn't afford it, it took more then I had just for the visit, blood work, and x-rays. This morning he's breathing strange. All I want to do is cry cuz I don't know what is wrong and I can't help him. I have to go to work tonight which also breaks my heart, but I am taking him to the normal vet first thing in the morning... I will be there waiting for them to get in.
I am just at my wits end... why is it both my fur babies have health issues. With a single income household vet bills a drowning me.
I'm sorry this is long and thank you for anyone who took the time to read it. Any suggestions to ask the vetty in the morning would be appreciated.
