Happy August everyone! Hope all the kitties are happy and safe today. Darwin is feeling well, which is great. A bit flat today, but hoping to get him into more blues and greens soon....practicing patience!

Eagerly waiting to see what's next. I feel like the most important thing is that he feels A LOT better than he has in so long. His weight is down another 7oz today, which is great - and not too quickly now either.

Exactly!!! We tend to get too wrapped up in numbers around here and forget that the more important thing is that the cat is acting and feeling better!!

Congrats on the weight loss too! Wish I could get China to lose some of her extra "fluffiness"!!

So true! I have been so hung up on those numbers (and trying not to be), but boy is he feeling good! <3

Thanks! He lost 3 lbs very quickly right before his Dx - which isn't good, but is good at the same time. He was almost a 19 pound boy, so he is looking much better now! He probably needs to be at 11lbs. So, we have a ways to go, but he's slowly losing now, which is much better!
