Question regarding syringes

Hi everyone, I used to use up until now the u-100 syringes 0.5 ml that only have full units.
Today I purchased a syringe showing half units but it says 0.3 ml and the markings for 1 or 2 units look like a lot compared 1 or 2 in the first syringe.
Is it safe to you either for the same amount of units?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.
Here's a picture of them:

No question is a dumb question! :) Your new syringes have a smaller total capacity and the marks will look close together. Do yours have full unit marks on one side of a vertical line and the half unit marks on the other side (usually the left)? These new syringes will be very useful when you want to give small fractions of a dose.

The 0.5 ml syringes have a larger inside diameter than the 0.3 ml ones. Thus, there is a larger distance between the unit markings on the 0.3 ml syringe than the 0.5 ml one.
