Amethyst +6 at 1AM 401 Amethyst AMPS 465 Amethyst was up all night drinking water????Amethyst at 1PM 449 Amethyst PMPS 440 Increased to 2.5 for PM shot

It looks to me like you may need to go ahead and increase to 2.5 units tomorrow morning, if Amethyst doesn't show some movement today or tonight.

The increased thirst is normal at numbers this high.

Hang in there, Pamela. It may take awhile, but we'll find the purrfect dose! :bighug:
 
Thank you for getting right back to me!!! This is the second night without sleep. I do not have any money to but Ketone strips I do not want her to end up in the hospital!!

A pink at +2 is better then red. I hope you start seeing get better numbers soon. Is she still behaving normally?
 
Hi I rushed her to the hospital at 6:30 this morning Because I was concerned Her ASTHMA acted up during the night so I was afraid of DKA. They checked her levels at 7:30AM it was 346 her AMPS was 442 she dropped almost 100 points but just now her +6 is back up to 428!! Did the car rides and hospital cause another increase?? THanks!!

Stress can definitely cause an increase.
