I wanted to shoot through the bounce this morning but DH gave him the reduction. I only thought he needed a .25 reduction but guess who wasn't listening? Oh well. I can treat it like a fur shot.
I split his +3 snack in two. So +3, +6 snacks are the same and FF snack is at +9.
I think steering with so much HC food earned the reduction. I don't want to let him go under 50 then start feeding the HC.

Can I ask why a reduction? He didn't go under 50. If you didn't see it, it didn't happen.

I hope he still gives you good numbers on the new dose.

He got 1.5oz 13% carb food to stay in the 60s. I plan on him getting 16.5 or 16.25 this afternoon. We couldn't monitor past +3 this morning but didn't want to reduce until this afternoon because I expected a bounce. DH decided on the 16 units because of the monitoring and 81 PS.

DH just called. PMPS 94 and he gave him 16.5 units. Expecting a bounce but I will be home around +1.5/+2 to test and steer if needed.

Wow, what a span of colors today! Good luck with the reduction. There were times when Bubba was racing down the dosing ladder and I gave reductions that weren't according to protocol for just the same reason you did. You can always go back up if he doesn't get back into green numbers in 6 cycles. Don't be complacent.

I'm honestly a bit confused by these numbers! He's never stayed this "low" this long. I really thought I would see a bounce this evening from the Depot getting smaller from the 16 units this morning. So in his usual fashion, next 3 cycles would be higher and the 16.5 dose would be held. Now that he's doing this I'm wondering if he should get 16.5 again in the morning or try 16.25 or 16... I don't want to steer him all day and night. He will eventually get an upset belly from the gravy lovers. Possibly diarrhea.

New territory... New fears. I don't want to race down the dosing ladder. He's been steered out of a reduction before and clearly didn't need it. I thought this could be one of those times but with all the gravy lovers he got last night I wasn't convinced.

i ended up with the Weruva line high carb options because Neko couldn't handle the wheat in the FF gravy. Weruva carbs come from potatoes.

Surf time Chuck.

:cool::cool:

A typical pattern for Neko was a blue cycle after a cycle going low. Like the bounce couldn't quite make up it's mind. The more time Chuck spends in these numbers, the less his body will freak out at them.

That's what I'm hoping for! I'll take a blue bounce any day! He's acting like he's starving to death. He loves the gravy lovers and thinks if he yowls he will get some!
