Still in curve here - hour 13. Her PMPS was 302. Just took Roo's +1 (with AlphaTrak2) and she hit her first red 429 number :( Not used to seeing such high numbers, esp 400! Thinking her dose might have to go back up.
Thoughts? Weird too cause after her shoot of 0.5U her numbers went up then slowly started coming down. Is this normal?

And should I be worried with a 429 BG?

1/2 unit marked syringes should also be here tomorrow. Besides being able to now see a 1/2 dose correctly, are these syringes also good to see a 0.75 unit?

Thanks for any info. Something new everyday..

With syringes that have half unit marks, you can eyeball between them to estimate 0.75 u. I think that's the dose to try as soon as you get those syringes.

Don't worry about that red. There's a bit of bouncing going on. It's always the very low numbers that you have to act on, not the highs.

There's no such thing as a syringe with quarter unit markings, so half unit marks are the best we can do.....you just have to eyeball it and get between the lines as best you can. The important thing is to try to be consistent

Is it easier to eyeball the 1/2 unit syringes better than the 1 unit syringes for a 0.75 unit?
