Hi Amethyst is starting Lantus tomorrow and I was wondering how soon do I do her first curve on Lantus? Thanks!

Most cats take 5-7 days before you'll see the full effect of the starting dose, but some cats react quicker.

I'd plan on getting the Pre-shot tests and at least 1 test somewhere mid-cycle on the AM cycle and at least 1 test "before bed" on the PM cycle....if you can get a few more tests in, that's even better just to gather data

Here is the instructions on setting up a SS. If you need help just ask and someone can get it up and going for you. Sadly, it won't be me as I am a tech mo mo.
