7/18 Malachai- Don't understand flat numbers

Hello,
Malachai is still unregulated. 3.75units.

Does anyone know why his numbers aren't moving today?

AMPS +320
+2 363
+3 343
+6 324 (typical Nadir time)

I would have assumed he would have dropped to the low 200's with an AMPS of 320 but he's just hanging out in the same numbers? Why can't I get this little guy in the yellow???
Any idea what's going on?

Hey Deena, I hear your frustration. :bighug:

With the numbers you are getting in the PM cycle, it doesn't look like he could be going to low but, some kitties do go lower in the PM cycle. Could you get some later test in the PM cycle to just get some more numbers to fill in on the SS and give some more of the puzzle pieces?

Maybe you could set your alarm and get some test around +6 - + 9 to see if he is going a lot lower in the PM cycle ( lots of kitties do) and bouncing up in the AM . If he is not going lower in the PM cycle at those times, it could just be possible that we haven't found the dose yet. It was 5.25 for Bubba when he started earning reductions.
 
I will definelty try my hardest to get more PM tests in....it just wakes our entire house up that's all :/
I have to smear a small amount of food on a plate to keep Malachai still so when he starts realizing he's getting tested (fed), he goes into a frenzy. He's a very LOUD Bengal cat so everyone in my house end up being disturbed/awakened...just not Malachai and I.
Anyways, I know it needs to be done more but everyone in my house gets annoyed, especially the husband :/

Perhaps if you get some of those test at +6 -+9 and you are saving some of his food from the last time you feed him and give him that bit of food first and then test.......he will be a happy camper. Even if it is a tbsp. of food that you save for the last test. Just an idea.....

And please post with those numbers that you get so we can see what is happening.
