Yesterday's condo

Mandarin earned himself a reduction with a drop into the 30s... and I ended up with very little sleep. Since I figured that he would once again bounce a bit, I went ahead and gave him his newly reduced dose of 1.5 u this morning. I'll be home to monitor.

Poor little Iris is once again sick. It started out as an ear infection and has turned into a full blown URI. As always, it is limited to her right side (discharge from her right nostril and right ear), so it probably still points to her having a polyp. I am just waiting for a call back from the vet to see when they can fit her in.

...and I will get another cup of coffee and try to get some work done. I definitely see a nap in my near future, but I will wait until Mandarin comes up a bit more.

I'm sorry you have a sick fur kid - kitty? Mandarin's been busy!
 
Sorry about the long night Christina...you knew Mandarin was in the hunt for that reduice. Hopefully next time he'll try it during the day. Poor little Iris...hope she can catch a break soon. Very proud of you Walter...keep up the good work buddy!

Yes, Iris is my sickly little Siamese mix. Iris and her sister Flora were dumped in a box in front of the shelter where I volunteer. She was barely 4 weeks old when I took her into foster last summer.

Here she is with her big brother Mandarin.

I am just glad that I am off at the moment and don't have to go and teach all day! These all nighters are really exhausting and I am always terrified of falling asleep and having him drop too low.

Mandarin....also a good job but no need to go shark diving! You've made your point and received your reducie!

Poor wee snuffly Iris! Hopefully she will feel better quickly once the a/bs are started.

Hope you get a nap in today Christina!
 
What a lovely cycle for Mandarin! :D :woot: No diving, no big bounce, just a nice flat day (and, I hope, night).

...and I guess Walter really wanted to hang out with his brother and made it all the way up to 143 (and, yes, I realize that that sound totally silly - it's still a good number ;)).
