Looks like the bounce is clearing up nicely with a nice blue this morning. He seems a little happier being back in better numbers, although it could just be my imagination.

Why do you keep R in the holster even after that ugly red?
The IAA with Jack delays the R. I've noticed he usually responds more in the following cycle then immediately like it should. Since the bounce was probably getting ready to start clearing, I didn't want to send him diving too fast or have to do a lot of monitoring the next cycle since I will not be able to monitor as much today.

Have you ever spotted Jack in action in the LB?
Yes, being a tech guy, I actually set up a camera in the LB area when he was missing a lot. This let me see what was happening and make some changes to the setup to encourage LB usage. He likes to hit the sides of the box like Marvin, but usually keeps it in the box. I also have the pads at the entrance, he sometimes just steps in and shoots out the entrance... those pads are such a lifesaver and make for nice easy cleanup. These aren't danglers which he sometimes gets, they are full, ahem, deposits. I think he does have some GI discomfort.

The Dave's food gives him gas and makes his tummy rumble a bit. When we tried Natures Logic he had a few p'titis flareups which he has not had since switching back to Dave's. It might be time to try a different food for him. Next vetty visit I'll be sure to inquire about IBD. I know the various gums in the food can irritate them.

Squating is hit or miss, sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't in the LB. When food is involved he can still trot to the kitchen and when we eat he can stand up to get a little meaty treat when we are eating at the table.

Happy Friday to the beans and kitties in L&L land.

I don't blame you for holding the R trigger with Mr Rotten cat;). I'm a fan of 1/4 capsule of SEB to help with tummy issues. Some give it twice a day but maybe try once a day. It's natural and unless he gets worse with IBD symptoms the medication choices are less then desirable, at least for me. Do you have a place to add another LB to Jack's house? Just a thought in passing through. Surf safely buddy

Good to hear from you Karen, hope you are doing well and surviving the heat out there. There are 3 boxes for 2 cats and they frequently use the same one. I might try another one on in a different spot to see if it helps. It's an easy thing to try. I'd like to avoid steroids if possible as well.

If I try the SEB I'm guessing it would replace the miralax at least in the beginning. Any recommended brands for SEB, I know supplements are unregulated and some are better then others.
