yes he is, Wendy was helping me with giving him reducies not because he earned, but so I could get some sleep. He is really working the juice even with the reducies.![]()
I will see how the rest of this cycle goes to see if I will go to 3U or 2U if he gives me a pre-shot number that is shootable.Well, well, well. Look at who is back in the lagoon. That's another reducie earned by going below 90.
And yes, I would go with less insulin, more than a 0.25 unit reduction. Marvin is just proving to be too unpredictable. I would at least take it down to 3.0 units. You could try 2.0 if you want. Again, this goes without saying, though I will - this is a suggestion for Marvin only who is walking his own path on the cabergoline trial.
Glad you got some sleep last night.Even if it wasn't on your bed.
It seems the 79 was +4. If you are worried about him going too low, I would feed a small amount to keep him surfing. Not normally, I have given him a small meal a few times when I go to bed this last week when his numbers low and once during the day because I had to go out for a few hours and his BG was green. When I go back to work, wouldn't be able to do that. I need to go shopping for an auto feeder and see if that will work for us. His next one is normally at PMPS

No, cats' metabolism is too quick for it to be effective for 24 hours.Does Once a day dosage exist with Lantus?
I'd have to find the member that posted to see if she was using Lantus but she's the only one I have seen who said she had success with once a day dosing. Unfortunately, she had posted the idea to a new member so Jill and Alex pointed out, this is very much not the usual and typically does not work for kitties. Personally, I would just do the tiny doses to get 2 shootable numbers, I feel like that's easier on their body anyways but *it is just my thoughts*Does Once a day dosage exist with Lantus?
