Just barely blue after last nights visit into the 20's again.

Glad you have the summer off to get her stabilized to a good dose.

How is her food drive/hunger been with these lower, more normal numbers.

I am super thankful to have the summer off to work out the right dose. If I had to be at a new job I would be a complete mess right now.

In regards of her food.....she will still gobble up anything I put in front of her, but the constant begging for food is a lot less!!! She isn't scratching at the door to wake me up in the morning. Yesterday I made some chickpea sandwich spread and she laid on the floor 10 feet away from me while I made the whole thing. It was crazy! Normally I would have had to lock her in the bedroom.

I am definitely a fan of levemir.

Osha is definitely keeping you on your toes. I hope she surfs safely today. That's great she isn't begging for food as much.

That alone makes it wonderful. I am sure she is more relaxed and calm because of it. IMO, if she is anything like Gizmo, the drive for food is a habit and will, hopefully, subside as she stays in the good ranges.

Hope Miss Osha slows down a wee bit and stays away from those 20's for a while. Doodles had a very good response to Levemir too. His dose was basically halved (12u Lantus to 5/6u Lev) very quickly and hovered around there for the duration. I'm glad you're home too to work out her dose. Pretty exciting!
