mayo question

my son left a jar of mayo open on the counter i came in from our little cookout to give my boy his pm shot to find mr Cinn dipping a paw in the jar and licking it off , i dont know how much he actually got or how much is missing from the jar ... is this harmful to him as a diabetic or in general as a cat? do i need to contact the emergency vet and bring him in?
 
I don't really know, I think if it was regular mayo what it has in it is olive oil, and eggs so probably there's not a real treat but you should monitor him, it could be a little bit heavy on his stomach and he may feel sick and throw up.

I hope someone has more information on this one

yes just plain mayo doesnt seem to be bothering his tummy as he ate his dinner all gone and is looking for more

ok thank you will monitor him ... his numbers have been good the past 24 hours or so low enough he didnt get a PM shot last evening or an AM shot today but was in low 300s by dinnertime
