:coffee::coffee: I am not sure if Osha went any lower after the +8 last night. I set my alarm for +10, but I don't even remember it going off. o_O I guess I am not as good at PJ parties as I was last summer. The broken sleep is difficult. She certainly was on a mission yesterday. I normally wouldn't have given any HC with that 63 yesterday, let alone an entire can and half a can of LC, but I really needed to leave the house. The little stinker still decided to go below 50, 30 minutes after that. :stop:

In any case, she has a nice blue start this morning. I have no idea if the reduction will hold, as she is a long term diabetic, but I can always bring her back up if it is needed.

Not a bad bounce for the Empress with her carb enriched day yesterday. ;)

Amanda, I have had broken sleep for over 2 years now and last night my alarm at 2 didn't go off and I automatically woke up a few mins after. It's a way of life now.......:rolleyes:

Hope your luncheon yesterday was nice.

Better to be safe and stuff em with food then go hypo:p
I really like Levemir:)
Surf on Osha be safe

One thing I liked about Levemir, once Neko got into the groove, is that she was flatter and I could go longer between tests. More like 3 hours instead of 1, so I actually could get some sleep. Surf safe tonight Osha.

So far I am enjoying Levemir, it's just the learning curve right now. :) I am just not sure when it is ok to go longer between tests. Especially on tonight's cycle. :rolleyes:

I also like lev...
I have found if Dre goes down before 3-4 hours I will have a potential diver that night.

example---396 PMPS tonight.... +3/133
gave a tsp hc to slow things down but usually he peaks at +9

Rico who also has fd induced by budesonide goes down nice n slow but he is not nearly as "diabetic" as Dre and looks like he may even go off when the budesondie goes away.

Hi Jayla! It's great to hear from you! :)

Rico who also has fd induced by budesonide goes down nice n slow but he is not nearly as "diabetic" as Dre and looks like he may even go off when the budesondie goes away.

I am so sorry to hear that Rico is also diabetic now. Fingers and paws crossed that he will go otj when he gets off the budesondie. :bighug:

@Osha and @carfurby
HI!!
Thank you for the prayers....it was a bit of a shock with Rico but at least I knew what to do.
I have been reducing the budesonide at about 10%a day and I have added the the fecal pills that are in a trial phase and he is responding unbelievably well--he went from liquid poo to normal bowel movements in less than a week. It started firming up within a day of the fecal pills it is amazing after all this time after his dental all he needed was good poo from a healthy donor!
Happy 4th of July:bighug::bighug::bighug:
