It seems like I've been testing like a maniac and waiting forever hoping for blue but always getting a yellow number... until today when I got a blue and then just now at +5 a beautiful green :D Come on little guy surf that green!!

Now I have a question about the dose.... the protocol says :
INCREASING THE DOSE:
  • Hold the dose for 3 - 5 days (6 - 10 consecutive cycles) if nadirs are less than 200 before increasing the dose by 0.25 unit.
    • if your cat is new to numbers under 200, it is recommended to hold the dose for at least 8-10 cycles before increasing.
    • when your cat starts to see nadirs under 100, hold the dose for at least 10 cycles before increasing.
I think Radar can be considered to be "new" to numbers below 200 because he's been stuck in the above 200s for many cycles. So I think I should hold the dose where it is. But when does the count begin??? When I started the new 4.25 dose or today's cycle when we finally hit numbers below 200?? Or am I misinterpreting the guidelines?? Is there something else I need to do?? Please help me learn more about how to keep Radar in those pretty healing greens for longer periods of time.

I had this same question a few days ago. I was told the count starts from the day you start the new dose.

@Doodles & Karen helped me. I would feel better if she chimes in also since I'm am still very much learning myself.

Now I see green. You'll hold this dose now for another 6-8 cycles unless there is a drop below 50 then reduce. Hold it there now Radar
Thanks for the clarification. :) We are still green with an 88 at +6. He's had a bit of a snack so I'm hoping he'll keep surfing for a while. I suspect that the next thing he'll do is bounce... but if I'm understanding correctly we will hold the dose in spite of any bouncing unless he drops below 50.

It can take 6 cycles to clear a bounce so with the 70's you want to put patience pants on and see if he gets back to green. Unless he goes under 50 and of course then you reduce
