Hi everyone,
Happy Canada Day
I haven't been on in so long- but finally got around to updating Trouble's spreadsheet and thought I would post an update. Trouble is OTJ for his 3rd time.. I didn't post during the trial, as he just doesn't seem to hold his remissions- so thought we wouldn't jinx it with a party.. We really didn't even do a proper trial.. His numbers probably weren't low enough to call for it- but he was on such a small dose. He loves the low blues
So far so good- He hasn't had any insulin since May 20, and overall his numbers are great.. He seems to cycle through some higher numbers here and there... and then comes back down.. we do test extra at those times.. and aren't sure if that is just a pattern of his, or if something sets it off...
He's happy with the sunshine- and happy not to be getting the insulin.. We have been testing once a day min, but may start doing it every few days...
Chela is good- we need to get him in for another blood test for his CKD (early stages).. but he seems fine, happy and healthy.
I am great- so happy summer is here- I just returned from 10 days teaching a course in Michigan, and came back to some sunshine- after the rainy and cold spring, and freezing cold winter- it is very welcome! Getting to the river, ocean and quarry as much as I can!
I hope you are well! Think of you and your fur babies all the time- And always sending vines to those in need
