Good morning!
AMPS 236 shooting 1.25u
Now to wait for the depot to fill.

Boomer ate all of his +3 and +6 fuds but left a bit in his +9.
Allen ate well again; he ate all of his double serving of chicken pate and a bit more than half of his double serving of turkey pate. Allen has to fast tonight; normally we would do it Tuesday night to give him his pill (re hypercalcemia) on Wednesday morning but that just wouldn't have worked out yesterday!

It appears that we are allowed one nice day per week and yesterday was it! I'm still shocked that DH and I were able to plan a road trip a few days ahead of time and the weather stayed as predicted and was beautiful! Perfect temperature for walking around. There were some clouds move in early afternoon....nothing that held rain but they did block the sun at times. Yesterday we went to Stratford. We're about an hour away and usually go each June to photograph the baby swans. But yesterday there were no baby swans! Eventually someone stopped to talk to me as I was photographing and he told me the babies were all killed by other animals. I know this is nature and it's meant to be that way but it made me very sad. Luckily, a Great Egret and a Great Blue Heron graced us with their presence and both posed for several photos plus I got "in flight" photos of them. Today's image is of the Great Egret in the Avon River.

Judy, I'm just so glad Boomer hasn't had any more Excellent Adventures and is sticking close to home :). The memory of that last one still comes to my mind when I see his beautiful face :)

I'm happy he hasn't as well! He's had adventures before but never out that long. I lost 10 years off my life that day :nailbiting:

Flat yellow means something! Stay tuned!!

Sorry to hear about the swan babies. Nature is not a peaceable kingdom!
We saw something very unusual on Monday: 5 adult loons rafting. This is what they do in the fall, when getting ready to fly to the coast. No one in our group had ever seen it during the breeding season.

We actually had two good days in a row! Today/tonight is a different story: it's coming down in sheets. Glad that you and DH got out for your day.
