6/29 Jubalee AMPS 330, 243/+5, 204/+8.5, 285/+10.5 PMPS 311-dose increase (possible fur shot?)

Well it appears Juba went down from that 409/+4 yesterday morning/afternoon after her insulin...I don't think it was a fur shot, I didn't smell Levemir on her fur or near the injection sight.

The lowest I tested her getting down to was 244/+4...boo!

And then she decided to give me a 330 this morning!

Should we increase her dose to 1.25 units tonight, or wait a little bit longer?
Thoughts? Advice?

I would go ahead and increase to 1.25u. Would you be able to monitor tonight or would tomorrow during the day be better? Increase during the cycle you can monitor.

I can definitely monitor tonight!
I think that's a great idea to try an increase. Also she's got a vetty visit tomorrow morning for a full senior chem panel and to see why she's had warmer ears the past couple days...

I never stop worrying about her!

Alright well Juba was 311 tonight
She's had a terrible ravenous appetite the entire day, constantly bugging me every hour, even after I feed her a generous meal or snack.

The lowest she got was 204 at +8.5 and then she started her climb up to the pinks at dinner time.

I increased her dose to 1.25 units, but now I think I gave her a fur shot
I can smell the insulin on her fur, but can't feel a wet spot, so I'm not really sure what I did.

Here's to hoping I can keep her alive until her vet appointment tomorrow morning!
