Her vet won't be until Wed, don't like any of the others unless it an emergency will wait until wed at 815. Keeping crossed it gets better with some rest and bupe.

I'm at work and can't stay on. Hopefully someone else will be along shortly to help out.

I'd give her a teaspoon of HC to try and get her surfing and stop dropping. Keep testing every 15 minutes and feed a little at a time until she comes back up. :bighug:

Ty gave mc since she had good response. :nailbiting::nailbiting::banghead: these cats!! Gonna give me a heart attack

Looks like the spreadsheet is using the alphatrack formatting. With the relion, under 50 is light green and where we start feeding higher carbs / karo and testing more. For future reference if you get low again, the karo/syrup gives a quick bump to the numbers, but wears off quicker then mc or hc foods.

You are getting some good experience and data on "feeding the curve". It is always good to know how a cat will respond to carbs, some are more sensitive then others. I've mixed a drop or two of syrup in food to give it a carb boost when Jack was in low numbers and not eating well. I like the combo where the syrup works quick, and then the food helps keep them up.

Ty @saltycat will have to experiment with the karo. I'm just glad she came up with mc. I don't know how to change the ss. :(
Uh duh. That was my fault. Some how I could only see the alphatrak numbers so I filled in the lt green. I am such an idiot. Ty for finding the error :) but was still concerned about the 61. So I did right with the mc/lc?

Hey Angela, I think with a 61 LC or MC is perfect unless she continues to drop then you could think about some higher carb. I would always consider where in the cycle the green number was and how low of a green number that is was to help me decide LC , MC or HC. Looks like she is on the rise now.

That's why I was kinda panicking because it was early in cycle. At least she responds well to carbs. It's the little things in life we treasure. Ok so now I know if she's 100 I am reducing the dose at night unless it's the weekend so we can monitor.

Here is yesterday's post: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/...mps-172-2-138-5-5-114-7-5-122-9-5-114.179762/

I used HC for under 50 and added karo if it was under 40. But what carbs you used when is ECID. Each kitty has different carb sensitivities and it!/ up to you to experiment and see what works for Phoebe. I usually used HC that was 16-17% carbs, some people need to need carbs that are much higher percent.

Vines for Phoebe's little leg. I didn't notice much difference if Neko was only a little dehydrated.
