Hey, when I want to answer posts on my previous day's condo but want to have it in my current condo so I don't have two going, how do I do this correctly?

Also, Do I need to increase? I have seen greens several times at the current dose, but maybe I should increase? I always hesitate when I know I have busy days ahead, but maybe I am not following TR.

Reread the TR page and the consecutive nadirs under 200 before increase...so everytime Taffy has a bounce, we reset? I feel a little stuck in this dose range, but almost certain if I increase, he will earn reduction quickly back to current.

Also never noticed the note towards the end about changing insulins after 6 months. Is Taffy doing well, typical, on Lantus or should I think about Levemir??? how would it differ? I read the Sticky on how it works, but in practice, what would I expect to be different and what sort of cat is it suited to?

The 10-30 minute fluctuations are sometimes just me being inconsistent and then the occasional big change are schedule changes (my daily schedule is not the same each day) and then I am always trying to "move him back up" by 15 min increments, or move him later in anticipation of something coming up. But then I have another day pop up where I need to change times. I have skipped instead in the past when there is a big change in my schedule, but I hate to do it. For example, now I will be out at a training tomorrow night until 10pm or later, so his shot will be somewhat late. So I delayed it a little tonight and will again in the AM. Then, Sat morn, I need to leave by 8am, so I will try to edge him back to an earlier time by then...sigh.

His feeding schedule is also not set exactly. Lately, I have been giving a small snack every 3-5 hours, depending on his numbers. I generally know his eat/sleep patterns and try to work with those, but I set the timed feeder at regular intervals when I am gone and overnight. More frequent if his numbers are l

I was just wondering if he variances in timing (shot & feeding) might have some impact on the numbers. Don't cha hate it when work interferes-lol :D

I just reply in old condo then copy/paste into new condo.

I will leave the dosing to others with more experience. Might want to change thread title to prefix with "?" and "dosing ?" in the title.

Taffy is seeing nadirs in the 50s and 60s, so you don't have a lot of room to increase. According to TR, you should reevaluate the dose every 3 to 5 days and see how low the dose is taking him. If he bounces one day, but gets to 60s the next day, you base your dosing decision on the 60s. You don't change the dose based on a bounce. I'm not sure what the differences are between Lantus and Levemir. You may want to add dose advice to your subject line to get other suggestions.

Those greens lately have been really nice.
