Looks like this is a bounce clearing, and there is probably still some of the depot from the 1u dose still in play.

your options

1) stall without feeding test in 20min and lets see if she is staying flat or if she has started to rise as she approaches the end of the cycle, this can help give you an idea of how active the cycle will be.
2) If there is no one available to stay with her or no test supplies and you cant monitor, skipping is another option.
3) If you give a one time reduced dose,, the early part of the cycle can still play out more or less the same, so she will still need monitoring

As you have already been stalling for 10min how do you feel about checking again 20min from the amps and see what's happening?

If someone can be with muffin to monitor I would go ahead and shoot. Remember with TR you will ideally be shooting anything over 50, when you are ready to do so, shooting when a bounce is clearing and the number is falling can lead to a very nice cycle.
She's staying flat, which is good, by the time she onsets her numbers will likely be on the rise.

Since this is the lowest number you will have shot, it's important that she get's a +1 and a +2.
So, if necessary you can stay ahead of the insulin and get more food into her so its there when she onsets.

I agree with Gill. She is staying flat, and the last insulin dose is wearing off, and she will soon have food to raise her numbers until the onset of the next dose. I would give her her insulin as long as you can monitor and have supplies, and your comfort level plays a role too.

Yes, feed.

Remember you need to get a +1 if that number is lower than amps or the same, then it's the heads up for an active cycle.
If she is lower or the same at +1 I would give her another snack, and, depending on the number, that LC snack may be LC or MC.
Please post up that +1, I'll be watching for the number, and help you if you need it.

Having trouble loading number...get a message that says Unable to Load-Try Again. I have made several attempts. As soon as I can load numbers, I will. Insulin at 7:50 am. Fed. Will test at 8:50 and 9:50. and post if possible. 911 down. `Thanks for your eyes on!

Thanks, with the lack of a bump from food, it looks like the cycle will be active.

I would probably give Muffin a teaspoon of LC now at this stage so that she has a little more food in her system when she onsets.

Next test at +2

Will do...and post in 20 minutes with +2.
Gill what is an active cycle...is there a definition somewhere I'm missing.
Thanks for hanging with us.

In the blue...just fed her a little more. How much testing do you recommend today? We are maxed out at the sanctuary with her needs plus others that require a lot of medical attention. Minimal testing today would be helpful. Thanks

Sorry, we've had storm and the power went.

I'm glad @tiffmaxee was about, thanks elise.

Here's an of an active cycle from the new to the group sticky

Example of an ACTIVE, but NOT necessarily typical Lantus cycle:
NOTE: Until kitty is pretty well regulated, the description below is NOT not what you'd consider a "typical" Lantus cycle. It takes time and patience for kitty to achieve a "typical" cycle! The example below is what you're working towards (a nice shallow curve). A relatively flat cycle is the ultimate goal.

+0 - PreShot number.
+1 - Usually higher than PreShot number because of the last shot wearing off. May see a food spike in this number.
+2 - Often similar to the PreShot number. Onset begins around +2 for most cats. You'll probably see an active cycle if the +2 is the same/similar OR lower than the preshot number. Continue testing!
+3 - Often lower than the PreShot number.
+4 - Lower.
+5 - Lower.
+6 - Nadir/Peak (the lowest number of cycle. NOTE: ECID. Not every cat has a mid-cycle nadir. Adjust the hours on this example to fit your cat.)
+7 - Surf (hang around the nadir number).
+8 - Slight rise.
+9 - Slight rise.
+10 - Rising.
+11 - Rising (one of the quirks of Lantus/Levemir: some cat's blood glucose numbers dip around +10 or +11... not to be confused with nadir).
+12 - PreShot number.
