Ah yes I hate those skinny/fat doses!
Come on Teasel work it!
Fats I can handle because I just nudge the plunger up to a black line on the syringe. Skinnies I hate because it's so hard to tell how far past a line I've moved the plunger. For that reason, I try to avoid skinnies if at all possible. I've never been successful at squeezing out drops of any size consistency. Yes, I know that calipers could help but it would just be another tool I'd have to hold onto at some point in the dose drawing process. My weak hands have a hard enough time as it is ...

I mark the syringe with the pointy calipers a few hours before the shot, so I don't have to bother with them when I am drawing the dose. That said, I don't mark skinnies or fats, I just eyeball tweak where the mark falls on the plunger. The mark is officially at the middle of the plunger. Of course, it's not very accurate. I just do my best.

Good luck with the new dose. I always draw the dose to where I think it needs to be and then check it with the calipers. I don't have enough hands to hold everything at the same time.
