Nice start. He did eat all his overnight fudz except his FD treats. Ate all but a couple of licks on his AMPS snack.

Too early to tell if he is feeling better but if his numbers are an indicator it is looking good!

Happy Caturday. Prayers and hugs to Amy.

you can stop a turn by holding the 3rd button for like 7 secs, then 1st button to go back to normal, then 4th button to manually turn to next feeding
I have got to check that out. I don't think I read the manual when I got it. It was early on in this dance and I already had so much to learn and on my mind. Thanks a bunch!

He still hadn't eaten his +4.5 so I encouraged him and he is eating. I added some MMR to it so hopefully that will help. Will give him some pain meds in a couple of hours if he needs it.

Has not eaten his +7.5 snack but did eat finally eat his +4.5. Going to pick it up in hopes that he will eat at PS. Did end up giving him a wee bit of pain meds at about noon.

PMPS=131

History:AMPS=138, +2=130, +4=138, +5.5=119, +9=114, +11=120

He did not eat his +7.5 and I pulled it up along with the FD snacks in the hopes he would eat good at his PS - which he did.

I did give him two small FD duck liver (he loves them) at about 3:00p. Before I did that I tried baby food with Canna mixed in and it was a no-go. So I mixed the baby food w/ Canna into his PS meal (which he ate). I mixed the +2.5 with Marshmallow root (no supplements) and hope that he will eat that. I am going to wait about 30 min and give a wee bit more pain meds (plenty of time prior to the MMR). He seems to be doing better - but not 100%. I am having some serious anxiety with shooting and him not eating well - but he did finishing the PS meal so that is a good sign.

He did get up with me and hubby on the couch a little earlier and got lovins and was scratching at the couch right before PS snack. To me it is pain - maybe acid but I think pain.

I did change his food to the Instinct Venison as the mixer with the FB - sometimes the food change encourages him to eat also. I was going to use the rabbit (vs. venison) but it doesn't have as many calories and with him not eating well I wanted that extra protein. He loves the rabbit.

Can I give Cerenia and Pepcid together or rather should I? I am getting pretty concerned. I was able to get him to eat 3/4 of the +2.5 snack bet it was a struggle.

Cerenia is all I have for nausea. He did get about 1/2 cap of marshmallow root in the +2.5 snack.

If it's been 24 hours since the last Cerenia, I would give it again. Does Gizmo get acid tummy? Neko didn't so she didn't get Pepcid. Plus it's not great for the IBD. Sorry I can't comment more on the meds. You are giving a lot of supplements and I am not familiar with all of them or sure how they work together.

I may have screwed up. Anyone know what the carb count is for this? I am not sure it is the same as listed as 6% on Lisa's(?) list.

Soulistic moist and tender Turkey Dinner: 6% carbs (40P-54F-6C, Phos 178, 149Kcal/5.5 can).

I hope Gizmo feels better and eats.:bighug:

The soulistic website says: Crude Protein (min) 8%, Crude Fat (min) 2.0%, Crude Fiber (max) 1.0%, Moisture (max) 85.0%, Ash (max) 3.0%, Taurine (min) 0.05%

Doesn't this mean 9% carbs, 73% protein, 18% fat? I subtracted the total list from 100 to get the percent carb. Then I figured its percentage of the protein/fat/carb total.
Been a while since I figured out how to do this calculation. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Or maybe the food chart uses something more accurate than the "min" values on the Soulistic web page.

I re-read the top of Dr. Pierson's food chart. She uses "TNA Typical Nutrient Analysis" not the Guaranteed Analysis from the website. I hadn't understood that before. She is using information not readily available on the vendor websites. So ignore my numbers here.
