Sorry-I did read that but it didn't stick. You can do a +3.5 or +4 test. It's up to you. It will be okay.1/2 later test? I fed her 2 tbsp ff with gravy.
When you feed to boost her numbers, 1 or 2 teaspoons are enough. You don't want to fill her up before she's safe. I did the same thing the first time Rex went low.Fed 2 more tbsp FF Salmon Feast in gravy.

I'm sorry to break the bad news, but you need 2 consecutive tests that are not food influenced. Let's see what +4 is. If it's up, don't feed and test again at +5.I am totally useless in this. I read all the time here and cannot figure out why some people shoot the way they do. Took me ages to even get to test Martini by myself.
If she's up at +4, can I 'assume' she's safe for the night? Thank you!!!
You're not useless. You are doing a lot more than people who don't test do for their diabetic kitty.I am totally useless in this. I read all the time here and cannot figure out why some people shoot the way they do. Took me ages to even get to test Martini by myself.

She's telling you she doesn't need 1.5 units anymore. What is going on???
Did you try putting it in a dish for her to lick up? I got lucky with Rex doing that. That's good right? Fed her but will do a bit of honey. Tried putting a few drops of honey on her gums - not a happy camper..
