How long before she should start to feel better? She's alot more sleepy last couple of days. She's been more alert when she is awake. It odd not to have her following me everywhere for food.

She will get used to being in lower numbers. The same thing happened to Bubba at first too. It's been a long time since she was in normal numbers and high numbers started to be her "norm" to function in.

She is rocking this!

I can't believe how that jolt of R just seemed to jumpstart her!!
Probably not, R is in and out insulin. She also got to a good dose of Lantus.

Neko started out playful in low pinks and quiet below that. After a while low blues was her happy zone and pink brought on the funk. Someone used the analogy of being used to lots of coffee (high blood sugar), and feeling yucky without it. Gradually they get used to the new normal. Good to hear she's not feeling starving all the time. :)

Curious to see where Phoebe end's up at PMPS.

Wendy, *just curious with this question*. Does that mean you think it's possible this would have happened without the R? So if Angela had tried it at a lower Lantus dose, this may not have happened?

Also, excuse me for poking my nose in here Angela

Understood! I thought maybe it did help jump start the good Lantus dose but thank you for clarifying it may have happened in time anyways :)
I think it's a combination of the two. When Bubba was stuck, I mean stuck, just like Phoebe was but a lower range, with the use of R and methodically bumping up the Lantus in adjunct with the R, he finally broke through. With out the R bringing his numbers down 50-100 points, we were not making any progress.

It is a huge cowinkydink that that R started at exact same time. However you can see on her ss how she just methodically kept going down with more insulin. I'm just glad it happened. :D:D:D I just hope we can now go in the other direction with amount of insulin.

There could be arguments for one or both, I really feel it was the two working in tandem. ;) And yes, let's keep up the good work Phoebe. :):cat:

@Wendy&Neko so does that mean if I had started it sooner you think it would not have had the effect? I'm just curious because I'm kinda beating myself up for Not starting it sooner. I didn't because I really didn't understand what R was or what it was used for.

I don't think if you had started R earlier it would have had the same effect. Phoebe started to see blues at 17 units and you jumped to two unit Lantus increases when you reached 20 units. Those larger L increases could have been what got ahead of the resistance. And not to beat a dead horse, but without the results of the high dose conditions tests, we are speculating here. There is some possibility that she has IAA and the R confused the antibodies a bit, but I have never seen a high dose cat where just starting R made the difference in going from pink/yellow to blues/greens. R is a good tool to have in your toolbox, but getting to a good L dose is what makes the difference.
