It's been awhile since I've been on... but here we are again. Stalling but probably gonna be a ns morning. And just when I was thinking about upping his dose. I really wish I understood his diabetes more. We're up and down so much it doesn't make any sense.

I suggest you edit your thread title to put the blue question mark icon at the front of your title. It'll attract more attention on the L forum. His numbers look good overall to me and I see that he's given you green before at 7 u. It might be that 7 u is at or near his good dose but his responses to it are unexpected on occasion. I think I read somewhere that the larger the Lantus dose the more variable the absorption can be. That might be a factor.

Just FYI, if you don't shoot, you call it AMBG (no PreShot because no shot! :p).

I know it's so frustrating when they bounce, but the good news is that he is getting into good numbers at this dose. His liver just needs to learn to handle them without panicking. Just hang in there.

Hi Amanda,
I agree with Wendy I'd hold for now, he didn't earn a reduction on TR, and though you were considering ping his dose with those greens this morning I think it wouldn't be advisable to take him up, not much margin for error there.

Thanks guys I was going to up it tomorrow cuz we hadn't seen many greens, but with me being gone I get nervous with upping his dose
