Good morning!
AMPS 171 shooting 1.25F
He came down a bit yesterday, hopefully he continues today.

Boomer was CPC overnight but decided after his auto feeder turned to an empty dish at 5:10 that he wanted to finish his +9 foods so he had to get me up to reset his dish
Allen ate well overnight with his first dish holding half Wellness Core chicken turkey and chicken liver and half Purrfect Bistro turkey pate, and the second dish holding Wellness Core turkey and duck.

Today's menu: AMPS chicken pate, +3 chicken pate, +6 ff ocean whitefish and tuna +9 chicken pate

Yesterday afternoon this Bean had a family photo session in a nearby park. There was a light cloud cover and shooting conditions were perfect. However the 2 year old decided he didn't want pictures taken and had a meltdown; several in fact. Actually the first half hour was basically one big meltdown. I finally suggested to the parents that they go ahead and play ball or blow bubbles or whatever and ignore him and he finally came around but there was definitely no posing him! Kids!

Today on this Bean's to-do list: posting a sneak peek from yesterday's session, I have a customer coming over for a few minutes, editing, errands to run.....and it's sunny out (it wasn't supposed to be) so I'd really like to go for a walk!

That's it Boomer...keep coming down, OK? I've said it before....more power to ya with taking pics of wee ones.....I'd go crazy, that's for sure. Have a great day, Judy!

Boomer pleas stop being a cat and work it buddy. Judy I'd bring him up to 1.5u tomorrow morning if you don't see green tonight. It will get you back on the line and hopefully get him out of these numbers.

I just don't get these numbers. They weren't terrific before Boomer's Big Adventure but now they're worse. Yesterday I thought he was trying to work the juice finally but today...not so much.
I've checked him over for scratches at @Wendy&Neko's suggestion in case a scratch has got infected. I don't see anything however they would be hard to see with his long hair. I certainly haven't seen him mega-washing a certain spot suggesting there was something there irritating him. I've thought a couple of times that he has a slight limp yet I also see him walk quite normally most times. He did have a coughing fit last night which was totally unusual for him.
Wondering if there's possibly a UTI although there's no other signs of him not feeling well....no peeing outside the box....appetite is the same. He's been (maybe) slightly testier with me when it comes to testing/shots.
IDK
Bean-failure :confused::(
Any suggestions would be welcome!

Edit to add: last dental was August 2016 so the need of a dental is another possibility

I agree with a couple of the suggestions. I'd replace the +9 snack with a zero carb one if you can. I know how hard it is to get rid of those!! And also the increase tomorrow. Have you tried combing him since his great escape? Just to see if he's sensitive in one area. And check his feet too. It might be time for a visit to Dr. Larry. Allen can't have all the fun. If last October was the last labs, then maybe another b/w too.

Hi @Wendy&Neko yes he gets brushed almost every night. No sign of any sensitive areas but I keep checking. I'll research for zero carb foods; he's pretty particular  The chicken pate I feed him has less than 2% carbs; I try to avoid giving that overnight as it's not his favourite and I don't want to give him an excuse to wake me up (although he always seems to find one anyways). What about cooked chicken? Would that be zero carbs and if I fed that at both +9 meals (considering he gets food every 3 hours) would I need to add anything to it to make it nutritional enough? I know there was a fancy feast pate that was listed as zero carbs; I never tried it as I didn't believe it
And yes maybe he needs to see Dr Larry. I was planning on taking him for a dental in August (which would be a year) and he would have b/w before the dental but maybe I'll have to move everything up on the timeline. I bet he's jealous of Allen's car rides and visits with Dr Larry and that's why he's pulling this crap :rolleyes:

I don't know but I'll look for it!
ETA: I just looked online at 2 of our pet stores and neither carry it. I'm in Canada so maybe it's not available here.
