On SLGS, with nadirs between 90 and 150, you hold the dose. As long as the ketones tests remain negative.

Hold even with all the bouncing??
Ketone negative today at 230pm! He keeps sneaking by me to potty box and I even closed off one room so he couldnt go the other way. He had to walk past me. So then he waits till I am not home or sleeping. .lol.
Sometimes I get him going.
Then I do my "yeah its negative" dance & he looks at me like I got 3 heads...lol..

He is playing more than he has in months. He has a vet followup on saturday june 3rd to check his liver values again.

Otherwise he appears to be doing great!! I wish I did this stuff years ago! But glad he is hear now doing it!!

Thanks Everyone!!

Pmps/185!!!
Ok...lol. i guess that spazy play earlier helped.
Now if his ears were better would help.
He ate 2oz of 4carb with probiotics.
Ketone negative at 230pm.
All meds in with 2.75u at 645pm

Ok..will he go up or down.
I will wait till 9pm to test which is +2.25
Is that good?

With the +2 being lower than the PMPB, it indicates an active cycle. So you are on EST time? If you haven't all ready, I would give him a tsp of LC food just to slow him down and keep him surfing and then test when you'd usually feed him again at 10 EST. It helps us if you talk in + talk as we are from all over the map and for you to say 10 PM to feed doesn't tell us when that is in regard to the PMPS time.

He is looking good!

Sorry about time thing. So confusing.
Yes. I am EST.
Pmps was at 6pm hour. Insulin given at 642pm.
I fed at 1010pm here. +3.3/119
Gave 3carb 2oz now.

So he is surfing!!

That is a nice, safe, gentle slide tonight. Just what you want. :) I think that answers your question about an increase. Hopefully, a little longer at this dose and you might see more consistent blues (anti-jinx). Sprocket is a textbook example of a cat that runs lower at night.

Ok. So I stay here awhile...ok..dose wise.

Well, so far he seems to stay in pretty safe numbers, and come up easily when you give him food. That's good.

Would you normally give him more food tonight? If, so feed as usual. I don't think he's going to do anything exciting now. If you want to retest once more before going to bed, no harm in that.

Very true on 1st part...
I have been feeding him 12oz at 10, 2, 6 at am/pm. So every 4 hours.
Except when he needs more food to surf.
So i gave about 1.2oz extra at 1130pm to help surf and me feel safe to sleep.
So if he eats 2oz at 2am then he will be at 13.5oz for day today.

Ok sleepy here. Gonna retest at my 2am then feed again. I actually go to bed and set my cell alarm for nice chimes to wake me for 2am. Or they wake me before alarm. I have the mom/wake up easily instinct even without being a mom to a human. I have not slept more than 3-4 hrs at a time for 2 months now. I will get back to autofeeder again soon....I hope.
Ty
