I gave him a fat 11 units. Just a hair past the line. I was going to increase him to 11.5 units tonight but with the 152 I got a bit nervous. I'm expecting a bounce from dropping to 152 from 600+...
I don't think he's got any dog food contraband left. One thing I thought about was I bought a new box of food. It's still 9Lives but it's not the same box I bought online. Same flavors though so I don't think it could be why he's getting such a spike but I guess it could be possible this batch is a bit different?

Chuck felt his shot today. I poked him while eating and when I started pushing it in he stopped eating and raised his head like he felt it. It was colder than it usually is... I like to let it warm up a bit before giving it so I draw it up right before I get his food ready. Only sits for a minute or two but maybe that was why he felt it today. I got his shot ready and held it between my fingers for less than a minute and then injected him.
I'm driving myself crazy over these numbers. I'm probably driving you all crazy too! *sorry*

Ugh - sorry you are seeing the rainbow on the SS. Been there, done that emotional roller coaster.

I would increase to 11.5 in the morning. At this size dose (over 10 units), even a 0.25u increase is really just fattening. Most increases (unless you are seeing green at a dose, which you did) would be by 1 unit increments.

Sorry Chuck felt his shot. I wonder if there is an element of feeling the Lantus sting in there too. Neko hated a cold shot too.

Do you think we should still increase? I'm thinking we should but I am also nervous about it.
DH can test at +10ish when he gets home. I'm going to bed early so I might be able to get a +8.
I'll be able to monitor from +4ish on and DH can get +2 after he does amps.

I feel like I'm just over thinking it.
