Amps 352
Ate 2oz of 3carb with probiotics
150am. Ketone negative
Weird cycle last night...thought he was to bounce then went up then down then up and now.....???

Bounce? Wonky?
5am had incident of jumping on ur bed. I go for dishes. Still food. Paws were raised with other cat. Fur was flown.
He wouldnt eat the leftover so i put some fortiflora on it. He ate some. All was quiet till 6am with him resting. And i tested.

Hmm??

The kitty fight may have raised his numbers a bit (stress and excitement). If he seems OK now I wouldn't worry too much about all the drama.

Come on back down, Sprocket!

Weird day. Not sure why he is high.
Pmps /333.
2oz of 3carb with probiotics.
Ketone negative at 1:50am.

Even got some blood with the insulin shot but had trouble getting blood for pmps test. Used 4 strips. 2 had not enough blood n 1 I forgot to put in meter but put blood on it.

Ugg..
Tired. Need energy.

He is wobbling around a bit and should start to clear the bounce this cycle or next. The BCS dose of 2.5 on 5.18 played into this too and I would give him an extra cycle (the usual is 6 cycles to clear a bounce ) because of that. I would say if he hasn't come down after tomorrow's AM cycle, I would take him back up to a fat 2.75. JMHO. Let's see what others think.

Thanks. I forgot about that dose having an impact on the bounce n cycles.
I hope he wont need to go back up but I will if he must.

Since you are following SLGS, you hold the dose for 7 days, then re-evaluate it. There is no concept of failed reduction when using SLGS. I hope he comes down soon. Numbers can really wobble around when they are bouncing. Tonight is cycle six so hopefully he'll clear the bounce tomorrow. Good to see those negative ketone tests. :)

Thanks Wendy. I didnt realize some of this. I swear I read that protocol a few times but missed some info somehow or is there a 2nd part to the protocol that I missed?
Its amazing how much bouncing he does.
I worry about it still but I put as much water in his canned food as he will let me so hope it helps him to stay ketone free with enough fluid at least.
I think I will always worry about that.
