I haven't checked in with ya in a while... I'm sorry.
So we're up to 11 units of Lantus twice a day... It seems like this might be his preferred dose. I kinda am kicking myself for being so scared to increase him a few times.
He still does whatever he wants though. Quick to remind me who runs the show! haha

Very nice numbers lately! I try to check up on you guys over in LL too...I just haven't gotten over there lately to stalk our former Prozinc members so I'm glad to see things are going well!

Why did he do that?!?
Why did he go so high? I'm not sure. DH was half hour late with shot but I don't think that's enough to spike him into black. Possible he's bouncing from the blue but I'm not sure. I have to update his SS but he was 350 for pmps tonight. Testing him soon for +2.

I don't know much about Lantus, but 30 minutes late doesn't seem like it would warrant a 508! Hopefully he'll settle back down for you soon!

We decided to shoot 45 minutes early since he was so high. His +2 is 388 so that's already MUCH better than this morning but it could be helped by shooting early. I feel bad for him when he gets into the reds because now he feels like crap when he does. He's handling the pinks like normal.
I just found a piece of dog food on the floor so I'm wondering if he found one earlier this morning too. One piece is enough to throw him into black. I need to get a "neater feeder" for my dog... I'm not sure it would solve the issue of her having a mouthful of food then thinking she heard someone at the door and spitting it all out on the floor on the way to the door.

That makes me laugh. Dogs are so funny!!! And the dog food theory makes sense. Someone else was having trouble with the cat getting into the dog food recently too. Hopefully Chuck will stick to his own food again since this little indulgence made him feel icky.

I sure hope so but won't hold my breath! He tries to get into anything that he thinks is food. The auto feeder I have is affordable and definitely put an end to me forgetting to pick up her food. It's a wonderpet selective feeding bowl.

Think that was Sarah, Frank's mum :cat:

Chuck is in a good mood tonight. Kitty isn't amused. LOL
Testing bg soon to see where he's at...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh my, I've seen that scene played out at my own house. When Oreo sits on my lap, Tigress gets super jealous and comes and sits ON him. He has the same face on when that happens!

Still renting here... :D
Big drop tonight after an increase to 13.5 units. I may have over reacted with the 13% carb snack. But oh well... Try again tomorrow. DH is being stubborn about shooting that much again. SMH.

We NEED to come here for a little vacation occasionally, Steph! Chuck is still being dramatic but is doing a lot better.

I happen to have way too many pictures!
I put some cat nip on his scratcher and it was his and want going to share.

Chuck is such a handsome fellow! Now if only his numbers would be as handsome as he is... But nice to see those greens!

Even at 400 he was outside today. Following Kitty until he heard a motorcycle. The moment he realized he made a terrible mistake venturing outside... :p:eek: he was in the process of crouching down and getting low to run back into the house. He looks like he's walking low on his hind end in this pic but he doesn't.

So Mr. Chuck Norris, AKA Satan, isn't as brave as his name suggests?! Love that photo of him, Steph. :)
LOL you are correct! He use to freeze in fear if he got outside. Once he got out with my GA Bubba and when bubba came back without him I was scared! Bubba had a history of taking his siblings on a walk and coming back without them when he lived with DH's Uncle before we adopted him. We found him the next day hiding under a shed. We had to scare him out from under it and I barely caught him by his tail as he flew by me. I was lucky I didn't hurt him by catching his tail but as soon as I touched him he went boneless and flopped down... Scared me even more! As soon as we got him in the house he was begging for food. Makes me wonder if his current narrowed disc space in his lower back is related to that.

Poor Chuck! It's hard to live up to your name(s) sometimes ;) He's still the most handsome boy though!

Hermione's brother Hairy is the same way. Hermione is the bravest little thing and will try to break up my German Shepherds if they get playing too hard (I don't let her, of course. 5lb cat vs 160 total lbs of dogs is not a good plan). Hairy hides under the sofa if a neighbor slams their car door too loud :p Unfortunately I can't let my cats outside, I live right off a rural highway. But I make sure they have plenty of things to do inside and even my former barn cat Samoa shows no interest in going outside anymore.

They never use to go out. We fenced in our yard in 2013 and he's just getting use to going out but runs inside when cars go by or if the dog barks. He started going out and looking for an escape route. Now he relaxes on the step in front of the door or all the way in the far back corner of our yard about 100 feet from the door. He prefers to use the sidewalk lol but will go through the grass if he's scared. He's such a character.

This is hilarious! Satan is too dainty to walk on grass! What a cat you have there, Steph. :D

What an interesting fellow he is! That's great that your cats can have some outside time. I do wish mine could, they have to be happy looking out the windows.
