I feel like I've been here all night. Oh wait - I have been here all night...

Got up to use the bathroom at 330. Checked Rudy's bg - 33!! He was totally fine. Meowing, pacing and hungry when he showed up in the kitchen. Few rounds of HC (one with a little syrup) brought him back up to a normal number within 30 minutes. Then a little LC to help him surf his way to safety.

He just had his breakfast and dosecrease. I also tested him for ketones - was negative (0.1).

Let's hope he stops the shenanigans and surfs along like a good kitty cause Ma needs a nap...

Wow. I would have missed a low dip in the middle of the night. Good job! Funny we don't mind no sleep when it means a reduction, right? Go Rudy.

I just got up to pee. He was laying in his boxtop in the hall. He followed me, so since he was up - I tested him. Good thing I did. He was acting totally normal too.

Congrats on the reducie. It's funny how some cats can be in low numbers and act normal. I'm glad he came back up for you. I hope he surfs safely today and you can get a nap in.

Thank you. :cat:

He was totally fine. He acted hungry when I led him to the kitchen, but he always acts hungry. He was purring, yelling and headbutting. Totally normal. I'm just glad I got up when I did. He's in a food coma somewhere. I'll get a +2 and see where he is. I kind of expect him to bounce.

Well Rudy, didn't that 33 last night just confirm to momma today that you really did need that reduction!? He is on a mission Jen! :cat: I just love seeing this. And I know you do to even if it does mean a lot of lost sleep for you.

I absolutely love seeing this!! I just didn't expect it to come on so fast and furious. Losing sleep is meaningless if I can get him off the drugs. :joyful:

Could be a delayed bounce from last night's 33. Let's see how he comes down be tomorrow. And maybe tonight, you can get a before the bed test and actually get some sleep! Do you remember that word, LOL?

Rudy's definitely in the bounce house today from that obscenely low 33 overnight. Plus, he had a reduction at breakfast. I totally expected it. Knowing him - he'll clear it tonight or tomorrow. He doesn't seem to bounce for more than 12-18 hours.

I actually got some sleep this afternoon. Once he hit the pink - I figured it was safe to have a nap. (It was really more of a mini-coma.) Still exhausted, but it helped.

Holy cow on that overnight test! Good catch. No need for that kind of shenanigans Rudy. The 40's still get the message across.

Was fate that I tested him at that moment. He better not do that again...

Oh my goodness...just looking at Rudy's SS. When do you sleep?? :nailbiting:

I don't think I've had a full night's sleep since he was diagnosed. Plus, I'm addicted to testing him. Rudy doesn't mind either. He willingly turns up in the kitchen for ear pokes. :cat:
