Morning all! Looks like Aurora's numbers are up and down. I got up at 12:30am and checked her and she was at 109 so she definitely didn't dip low. This morning AMPS 172
I hope we can get her back to the lagoon. I'm at work today but will be home with her tomorrow all day
 
While the lack of sleep can get to you, getting up to test at least lets you know she didn't drop. Think green Aurora.
 
Thanks ladies! I will be home tomorrow so I can get in afew extra spot checks during the day.
PMPS 140 will check again at +2

Great! I'll do that first thing tomorrow. Do I need to note the ss a special way saying I gave food with gravy I just gave her second spoonful she ate quite a bit when do I check again?

Look at Rex's SS. You can see what I did in the notes section with the food.
 
Congrats on the reduction. Test in 1/2 an hour and give more high carbs if not above 50. If she is above 50, give a couple tsps of LC and test in half hour again. There are more details in the Shoiting and Handling Low Numbers Sticky Note. You want to keep testing to make sure she doesn't drop back down after the high carbs wear off.
 
Congrats on the reducie. I was on the fence about taking her up to .5, but I figured she'd let you know if it was too much, and sure enough, she did! :D

You made your point, Aurora. Time to head closer to shore so Mama can relax and get some sleep tonight.
 
Could you update your subject line so we can see at a glance that she is back in safe territory.
 
Next check in 30, and then 30 and last one (assuming she's still going up or holding steady over 70) 30-60 minutes after that. The reason you need three more is you fed at the last one, so the next one will be food influenced.
 
Fyi we're having very bad storms here in Chicago tonight incase I'm not reporting numbers tomorrow I'm mentally prepping for Internet to be down. Winds are very strong right now.
