Good morning all...

Mr. Hungry Cat this morning and demanding his breakfast. :cat: See the decrease in numbers with dosage increase so the next increase MAY do the trick... I hope. With his higher numbers this past week or so I could see the difference in the litter box... BIG PEES! Hard to lug out those boulders with arthritis, lol!

Have a good day...

Since +3.5 74 and there is still some time to drop AND in between he did eat some of his Friskies wet... I've decided to be proactive and gave him 1/2 can (he's a big cat) of FF variety w gravy out of hypo kit. Since he just finished... I'll retest at +5.

Okay w that little FF w gravy +5 is holding at 71 NOW should I give the other half of the can OR see how it goes since we have another +2 to go?

Is +7 his nadir?

I'm not sure yet on Lantus as he's been on it such a short time and we're still finding his right dosage. I was just looking ahead of a projected high range of the nadir bracket for Lantus. On his previous insulin it was at +6.

I went ahead and only have him another 1/4 of the FF gravy and his +6 is now 124 so that's good, went up.

Looking back at the day overall, I think my decision to give the FF gravy from the hypo kit now being able to see where his numbers were going, was unnecessary. I always go on the side of caution though, so I'm not in regret.

I do think, however, this may be the dosage that will work for Princeton.
