After reduction to .75U, BG levels were flat for 2 dys. Was going to increase to 1U tomorrow, based on TR Sticky (nadirs >200 and <300) but now I'm not sure. Would you wait a couple more cycles before increasing? How likely is it that he'll start seeing more blue on this dose?

One of the hardest things to determine is a failed reduction. Is this a failed reduction or is he still bouncing from the 43 number in the AM cycle of 5/10? He is coming steadily down rather than going steadily up so it looks like to me that he is trying to clear the bounce. I would hold it for a few more cycles since bounces can take 6 cycles to clear and see where he is.

Tonight's his 6th cycle on this dose. He only started coming down today. First 2 days were basically flat (unless you're looking at nadir only in which case, yes, a few points lower yesterday than the day before). If this is a bounce, it's the only one he's ever had where he spent more time in the 200s and not the 300s and higher. Does this mean something (that if he is indeed bouncing, he's bouncing to lower numbers than he used to)?

If you don't see green tonight, I would call it a failed reduction and increase tomorrow to 1.0 units. He's had six cycles to clear the bounce, and didn't. It could be the reduction from a fat 1.0 to .75u was too large a reduction.

Work it Fearless. The threat of an increase is on the table.

I shoot at 7 am and pm so missed your post, Wendy. I had decided to give it one more day (2 cycles) since he did hit the blues yesterday for a little bit. If no movement today, it's back up to 1U tomorrow am.

After a reduction, you give them time to clear the bounce, which you have now, and if you don't see green, it's a failed reduction.
