Appy is good today (and was good last night)...things seem as "normal" as they can be here, although of course that AMBG has my attention...if it ain't one thing, it's another.

I did give her Adequan last night, too, and that seems to help make her feel much better. It had only been a week since her last shot (we completed the loading cycle of 2 shots per week for 4 weeks last week), but I checked in with vetty because Trix was definitely seeming pretty stiff and uncomfortable in her hind end yesterday. When our GA civvie Mario started Adequan, our old vetty (same practice, but has since left) stretched his loading cycle out more - he had the 2 shots per week for 4 weeks, too, but then went to one shot per week for 4 weeks, then every other week for 4 weeks, then as-needed, which was usually every 3-4 weeks. Anyway, vetty approved once a week for 4 weeks for Trix, and then we'll see what's what after that.

My anxiety continues to be ever-present, but I'm trying to ward it off by staying busy with busy-work. So with that, I am going to get moving....

Prayers to all, with extras for Wendy and her beloved civvie Theo....

Amy

Glad to hear the adequan seems to be helping and love the good appy report. I did finally pick up the Dream Water yesterday and it worked like a charm. (cheaper on Amazon) It doesn't knock you out it at first Amy. Just drink it 30min before bed and then go lay down. During the day by keeping busy the anxiety can be easier to "control". Trying to go to sleep and shut the brain off...forget it.

Hope you have a good day and extra scritches to Miss Trix. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks for the reminder, Karen...man, my mind is like a sieve these days - I completely forgot you mentioned this. I've recently started taking a little bit of taurine and B6 supplements...they're supposed to be natural anti-anxiety aids, too. I don't expect a miracle from them, but if they can take the edge off (even if it's just a placebo effect), it would be good!

One learns all kinds of things around here... interesting about the Dream Water. Our civie Tillie is on adequan now too. We are giving her shots every 2 weeks but she still acts like she hurts. Might have to try weekly shots. Hope you find something that helps with your anxiety, Amy. That's not fun at all.

Vines for Trixie's stiffness. Vines (and maybe a glass of wine?) for your anxiety. I hope you have a good weekend, Amy.
Hugs for you and scritches for the kitties,
