After dipping to 51 at +5, he's back up to 86 at +6 after getting a HC snack with honey added.

PMPS 62, not much of a rise from +10. He didn't eat much for dinner - neither did the other cats so I'll feed again at +2. I have a feeling...

Yep. Another reduction and it wasn't quite 2 hours since the insulin shot. 43!

It's a very stressful/ good time. I know this isn't easy for you but, he is responding so well to the insulin that it just has to make you crazy happy even though you are so sleep deprived.

@Bobbie And Bubba, what were you saying about back to back reductions failing? This is now 3rd one in 4 cycles and 8 reductions in 11 days.It's a very stressful/ good time. I know this isn't easy for you but, he is responding so well to the insulin that it just has to make you crazy happy even though you are so sleep deprived.

Rex is proving us wrong. Usually, back to back reductions don't hold. But, some kitties, like Rex ( and Bubba was one too ) that race down the dosing ladder and earn reductions quickly. Glad he is proving the protocol wrong.

It's almost like a routine nowadays. Oh, Rex is low again. Let's see what works this time. Nope, not that. What about this one? Nope. Rex is refusing to come out of the 40's tonight. Up only 2 points with LC/HC mixed with honey....and over and over and over...and over...
