I don't understand why you have two rows of numbers today. It looks like he has been spending the day surfing mid blue.

Do you have high carb food, plenty of test strips and are able to monitor tonight? If so, I would go for it. I cannot stay with you as I am getting on a plane in an hour.
 
Can watch him for about an hour then have to go out for a little. My 2 rows are too is alpha track and bottom is relion. I forgot to specify. Sorry
 
Do you have an autofeeder or can you leave food out for him?

If you haven't fed him yet, I would retest now. He might be now in your comfort zone for shooting.
 
If you know you are going g to be back by +3, then you could go ahead and shoot, test him as you head out the door if that +1 is lowered or the same then give some MC or hc to bolster his numbers while you are out, and leave some more food for him at +2 and +3 in an autofeeder (if you have one)

If you haven't shot or fed yet you could recheck BG to see if he is on his way up, you might find he is in your comfort zone for shooting.
 
When we stall if we are unsure about shooting we usually don't feed, that way we can re test 20-30 min later getting a number that is not food influenced.

That said it wouldn't hurt to see what the BG is now.

Hell only be confined for a couple of hours and it would be to keep him safe with other kitties about you need to be sure they don't eat his food as that is what will be keeping him safe.
 
I think you would be ok to shoot, but remember that tomorrow morning you will be 1hr off schedule, so you have to be ok with that, you can get back on schedule by moving shot time forward by 30 min a day (or 15 min per cycle)

If you shoot, I would give him some more food with his shot, just so he's got some more recent carbs in him by the time he onsets (usually around +2 ECID) with you feeding him an hour ago any carbs from that will have likely worn off by the time he onsets so if you don't feed that can see him drop.

I'd leave him with some food while you go out though, just to be safe.
