Good Evening, L&LL,

We had snow off and on today (along with the never-ending rain). Nothing stuck, but it was indeed snow. Edward's father was a gardener and he wouldn't plant anything in his garden until the "Frost Kings" (May 3, 4, and 5) had passed. Of course we haven't planted anything yet (but did get a free packet of seeds today from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden).

Today was a day of paperwork for me. Edward went to a new yoga class (Yin) and liked it. Rusty slept in his perch over the radiator. The seasonal birds are all here now, I think. We have Goldfinches at the thistle-seed feeder and Chipping Sparrows in the "lawn". White-throated Sparrows have been here for a week or so. They are my favorites.

Tomorrow I'll be climbing a mountain in the High Peaks with a group from our mountain club chapter. Hopefully the rain will hold off. It's supposed to go down to 24 degrees F. here tonight. Frost Kings indeed!

Wishing everyone a good evening and sending vines to all kitties and beans in need.

no rain here. But the 5+ inches of snow on saturday was good moisture booster. We never turn it down.
The rule here is don't plant anything until after Mother's day....
I have two trays of flowers waiting for the day to get here.... trying to keep them outside during the day and locked inside at night, away from
Phantom's desire for his own private salad.

Looking Good today, Meister.....

It has been bizarre weather this year; there is snow in our forecast for later this week :p
Rusty has the right idea....sleep in a warm spot until spring weather decides to actually come and stay!
Hope you have a good climb Ella!
