Nice blue start after yesterday bounce cycle. He dropped 231 points in 3 hours yesterday's AM cycle but he is all ready clearing it again. Remember that bounces can happen if kitty perceives too low of a number or a big drop. Plus he hit the low blue in that cycle.

Surf it today Fearless!

Love the blue start....you keep working the juice and stay out of the reds and blacks Fearless kitty.

4 days ago (his best day yet) he started @ 149 and dropped to 79 on 1/2 can of LC food. That day I feed 1/2 can on the 79 and again on the 78 an hour later and 2 hrs later he was still in the 100s. Based on this I think he can tolerate a little more than 2 tsp food. I just measured and 1/4 can = 3 tsp, so that's what I just gave him and he was satisfied with that (didn't come looking for more). We'll see how the 1/4 can (versus the 1/2 can fed 4 days ago) affects him in the next couple hours.

It's good to keep experimenting with the amount of food for the surf process.

OK. That worked. He's still in the green at +6 with a 1/4 can (3 tsp) LC food in the last hr. His nadir has typically been around +6. Should I lay off on food now until PMPS?

Just a bit low. Probably wouldn't have dipped into the light green if I had given a tsp. or two of food @ +6. Lesson learned. Feeding now.

If you are still using the AT, that is a reduction earned to 1.0 unit. Congratulations.:D

Food is one big experiment. But I would give some LC or MC now to bring him up.

I think that if he is high yellows or above by preshot time, you can shoot through the bounce, and take the reduction in the morning.

Is it almost time for a retest to make sure he is coming up?

Start of a bounce? Or end of the insulin's "active" cycle? I know it wasn't the food; I only gave 1/4 can LC @ +8.
