Jen, why don't you post your question and edit your title by adding the '?' Prefix. That may get more eyes on it. You can also tag Bobbie or Wendy so they will see it when they come on line.

Thanks. It's not urgent. I don't like taking eyes off a condo that might really need help. I also don't tag people since I feel like I'm bothering them.

I just want to find out if his cycle count restarts since he only got a token dose last night. Also, want to know how many cycles I'm holding for this time around with his accelerated dosing. I think he finally shifts to the standard SLGS dosing protocols since he hit a blue.

I can answer the first question, yes cycle count starts over. And I believe you're right, now that you've seen blue, you'll hold the dose longer and increase .25u at a time. Bobbie doesn't mind being tagged and I don't think Wendy does either, at least I hope not because I tag them both all the time and neither has told me to stop!:rolleyes: I'm sure one or both will be on to answer your question soon.:)

I know. :) By +4/5 he was hitting his nadir then flattening in the 300s. Very frustrating. Now - it's like all at once the Lantus is working. He hit his first blue at +10 yesterday and he was yellow at his preshot just now. I'm so thrilled that he's finally seeing some great results. :cat::cat::cat:
 
We might just get his first full yellow cycle tonight. It's not a blue, but it's a first. :) Just gave him a spoon of LC FF to hold him over. I'll keep an eye on him for a bit longer too.
 
It sure is. He might get there. Although I did give him a little food at the +3.5 reading. He's taking a snooze before I get a +5 in 20 minutes or so. We'll see if he wakes up blue...
 
Hey there Jen! Sorry, I was off the boards last night and am just seeing this. Please don't ever be afraid to tag someone with any questions you might have. That is how we all learned. :)

I see that Sharon answered the part of your question about the count starting over again. Any time there is a Big Chicken S--t shot BCS ( that's what we call the dose that we reduced so we can shoot ) or a Fur Shot (FS) the count would start over again.

Since he hit the blues the Fast Tracking stops according to @julie & punkin (ga) but, tagging her as I am not too sure if you would resume fast tracking since he had the BCS dose the night before last so you could shoot and now the depot has to rebuild. Julie will be able to help guide you with that questions as I am not too sure.

Again, please don't be afraid to put a ? mark in your title as that will get lots of eyes on your thread and/or to tag someone. We are all happy to help. We were helped along the way and we all pay forward now. :cat::bighug::)
