Silly Teasel you're not supposed to bounce so high.

That big of a drop is enough to trigger another bounce:rolleyes:. He's hit 61 and 68 on the F3 U. Looks like you're trying the 3 drops before reducing.

Nice and easy now Teasel.

That's right, Karen. I'm being a bit braver going for three lows this time but I suspect I'll have to "unfatten" the 3 u dose. He DOES NOT make this easy!! :blackeye::confused:o_O

Another one of those days, eh?:bighug:
The drops were serious and I too would have thought of un-fatenning the dose.
I wonder what the MC lunch will do.
May be the +7 test will tell more.

Still going slowly down at PMPS (108) even though I gave 2 tsp HC at +9. I'm reducing to a regular 3.0 u tonight because I think he'd have gone lower today without the HC prop ups. I haven't officially seen a third low green but I think it would have happened without this HC food intervention. Good enough for my nerves!

And that's how it is so difficult to follow the "3 times under 50" rule before taking a reduction...
Exactly! That's why I reduced his dose back to 3.0 u tonight. I'm looking at this as though it is his third time. I think of them as guidelines, not rules, because Teasel doesn't follow rules.

Ducia was still lowering at +8.
I think I'll be joining you at "not conservatively-earned" reduction club tonight.:)
Still thinking though...
We had soo many failures already...

Yes.:confused::blackeye:
To be frank: the hardest part is subjecting her to that poking.
But what if avoiding poking subjects her the grater damage in the future, i.g prolonged Yellow="welcome ketones?"...:confused:

It's a fine balance trying to get good regulation, avoiding discomfort for kitty, not allowing other problems like hypos and ketones to happen and helping the bean to hang onto her sanity. You're testing regularly for ketones and that's your best defense.
