High prot, moder fat, 0% carbs, better Phosp then friskie, and it actually smells good.

I was hoping however, Phoebe did not like the texture. Its not pate shes not eating it apparently :banghead::banghead::banghead: 2.83 down the drain for a 8. something oz. it does smell like canned chicken and looked like it. She was never one for human food. She won't eat the Purebites Shrimp either. :banghead::banghead: oye vey these cats

Pity...
But, I ran one 6 oz can thru my food processor with some warm water added. It didn't make it a pate but changed the texture a lot. May be give it a try before you discard it completely?
:eek:The price is a shame/outrage.

OHHHHH thats a good idea!! ty Duh you people are so smart!

I tried to find the Tiki Mousse today. No luck. Went to two different specialty pet stores. One place did have the Puka Puka on close out so grabbed a couple of those to try. I wonder if a bit of digestive enzymes would help break it down to a better consistency. Gizmo eats the Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Fowl Ball so I don't think it will be an issue for us.

I bought everything to take bp at home but then lost Max. It's expensive. If you buy some parts on eBay you can save some but it will cost at least $500.

I've been :bookworm::bookworm::bookworm: for your Angela but like tiff said the equipment is not inexpensive. Just something else kitties don't make easy, even for Vets! Articles say finding the blood vessel is like an art, if you're off by a millimeter you can miss hearing it! So they seem to use equipment similar to neonatal units. Want to sneak her into NICU? lol

If you are interest in home bp testing you want a doppler. I got the Parks 811B You also need cuffs, a sphygmomanometer, a battery, a probe, and gel.

I bought the Doppler and battery on e-bay and it worked so saved a little. I got the sphygmomanometer and cuff elsewhere.
